Are you removing the rear heater and rear heater lines since you have the engine out?
 
I actually like the rear heater. I use it when going to tahoe in the winter. I do plan on doing something about the hard lines though. Im just not sure what route to take. Ill have to inspect them real well first.
 
Anyone concerned about this? Should i just brush it out and blast it with some cleaner. The truck sat for a bit and all the aluminum looks like this.

It does move real well. And no, i didnt remove the screws. Thats a mistake i read about years ago but thanks for pointing that out. Is there anything else in there i can F up?
 
I don't think you can get the oem heater hard lines anymore.
 
Thats ok, id either bend my own or just do soft line.
