Nice bumpah.

Any concerns with water or debris piling up in the horizontal 'shelfs' that were welded in on the sides? It looks like they are sightly lower than the tubing which could make them a collection point. Not a big deal day-to-day but might want to consider how they will drain to prevent water sitting there repeatedly for periods of time.

Thanks.

Never really thought about that, good point. I do live in AZ, so it should not be too big an issue. Drilling a couple drain holes would probably work, if it did start to be a problem.

You, sir, have inspired me. I am going to Baertrax in June with the intent to have a tube bumper fabbed and slapped on my hundo. I'm thinking I'm going to attempt to have it resemble the Metal Tech or BIOR tube bumper for the 80's

thats cool...hope you get what you are looking for.

I can tell you from wheeling Golden Spike with Chris it open up a couple down hill lines no other 100 could of done without damage. This one his bumper barely made resulting in a couple of scratches.

Front bumper

Yes it looks great. It helped it standout on the 100 run. I'm sure he hit his much less often than I hit my ARB.

Chris, how about a couple pics like the ones in post #22 now that it's had a good workout. That bumper looked great from what I saw.

I will put some pics up today. It definitely took a beating on Golden Spike...I plan to use steel on the bottom half when it gets more beat up.

Looks like it held up just fine. I wouldn't change a thing. Nice job running Spike btw.

Next year you need to lead the 100's on Spike....:D

nice bumper build, what tires are those?
