Just got a UPS package from my dad..
A gray carpet dash cover... not to sure on that item... and a couple of Scepter fuel cans.. Used but they hold fluid and will be in need of a scrubbing and some plastic vinyl paint. I'll take it all.

Are they plastic cans? If so, you could dye them, but don't paint-em, it will bubble up and look terrible in no time, I see it on kids dirt bikes every day round here.

After I've had a day to ponder the paint vs patina.. Patina wins
I have a great family support group for Marley. I think my dad is secretly trying to live vicariously through me and the build.
I'll let him.. I told him I needed a RTT and an ARB or ?? fridge too. HA now I'll see what happens.. He asked for websites to take a look at them.....Thanks Finny.. not too much longer now.
Yes, plastic cans and the patina is there to stay.

Not much got accomplished on Marley this weekend. To many things to do..
However, got the rear wiper motor and all back hatch items back in and working.. Painted the wiper arms, Marley got new wiper blades. Started installing all the weatherstripping etc.. around the doors.
Ran across a 5 gallon military water can (new) and my wife's WagonGear hat arrived. She's so cool.

If you are driving down to Durango you should take a quick stop (ok well maybe not quick) in Steamboat Springs. Great place and absolutely beautiful, check out some of the local fare, and maybe take a ride on the gondola up to the top of the mountain. Great small town and the hot springs (not the ones in town the ones out past Lowell Whiteman) are incredible.
