Another 40 trailer...

Well we scored a $400 FJ40 and considered a restore, but I’m going to do a trailer for my fam to use for our camping trips to pull behind our Troopy and some parts to make Cruiser wall art to sell and then part out the rest.
The plan is basically to use the rear and stretch it up to 12”. Use the forty frame and keep it simple.

Here’s the donor. A 1970 farm forty.

We need some parts and if you have some or a lead on anything circled, please let us know. I need 3 OEM wheels and hub caps, filler tub complete with cap, lights, tire carrier, and license plate bracket complete. I’m open to bartering as well either coffee or exchanging 40 parts. The pics I’m using are from @wngrog ”the goat tail”.

I also have the swing out tire carrier, the bracket that the tire bolts to is bent out of shape. I imagine shipping that might be high due to weight. the latches are good, 1 hinge seized, but it looks like you scored some?

I've been spraying the big screws with pb blaster. the two on the bottom of the plate holder are rusted stuck. the light assembly is off and complete.The tire carrier bracket has been straightened by the magical sledge hammer! I'll have the wife send some pics with her "smartphone" when she gets home.

With your aversion to off camber situations in the 70 a bulldog type hitch would be your best bet. Tractor Supply and Northern Tool carry them in house.
