So there we were...cruiserless...blasphemy! Our '04 ( Sid) found a new home about a year ago and we have been missing him ever since.

Driving down the road the other day and lo and behold...a mall cruiser for sale...in a blue color that I do not remember seeing!

We rescued it from this horrible existence and began it's transformation today.

Today after a visit to a local tire dealer....Nitto 275/70/18's. After the pic I cranked up the T-bars 1". Bonus points for whoever can correctly identify the movie that we are naming the LC's after.....

Ice Age

Welcome back into a hundy. Does that thing not have AHC then, since you said you cranked the T-bars?

You are absolutely correct Loud. One of the best movies around for one liners.

No AHC....something I had no desire for.

Another blue 06!!!

Here's mine... before and after...
AHC, ARB lockers, Slee boards nextm, then ARB front with winch.

Btw, interesting how the rear spoiler and moldings around the wheel wells are different between the two 06s..

The wheel moldings on the first one look like a Southeast Toyota add-on.

your wheel wells are the same, you just have those plastic fender flares, they look silly to me since the 100 series already has a "fender flare" in the body style. So it's pretty much 2 flares. I would loose them, they are known to rub paint off the back door area and possibly dent it after a while.

I like 'em! Admittedly, they look a little dorky with the OEM tires, but filled out with some nice 285's I think they complement nicely. While they may not be the best friend to the paint, IMO they add a nice touch. And not in an over-clad Pontiac type of way. Didn't a guy just add some black one to his brown cruiser in another post? I thought those looked nice too. Wonder what they'd look like Rhino'd?

what about the rear spoiler?

Worth mentioning, I opted to use some old LC rims (16") to get more profil on my MT tires.. You tires on the stock OEM really fills out that fender though!

Drawer system

So next project was a homemade drawer system and dog platform. I had built one before that turned out pretty decent but wanted to try something different, mainly I wanted a flat surface for Fido to be able to stretch out after the fridge gets mounted. Still have some carpeting, latches, etc. to do.

Finished drawers...

So I had a chance to finish the drawer system except for some tie downs. I owe a thanks to Zane for some ideas!

Do you have the measurements for the box? My GSD would love a place to sit when we are riding the trails. The box looks awesome, nice job.
