i guess i need to send a notice/reminder that our annual meeting is Saturday January 12, 2008 at the Hemphill's at 6pm.

this is our yearly meeting where officers are elected and dues are due!

if you are not going to make it, but are interested in an officer position (president, vice-president, treasurer) please pm me.
we will discuss the web site hosting and probably make a final decision as well. any opinions on this or other agenda items from nonattendees, contact me.

thank you

Can you post the address for the meeting either on the HD website or here Please! Thanks and see you next week.

Paul

Steve,
Just a heads up that we will not be able to make it to the meeting. Danise and I will be in Puerto Vallarta trying to figure how the heck we survived 10 years of marriage while my in-laws get to try to remember how to deal with a 4-year old and a 6-year old without going insane.

I do have the Superbowl Sunday run on the calendar so there's a pretty good chance we'll make that.

Those are the types of getaways that come with a souvenir 9 months later. Enjoy

Shawn - How much are dues? I was remembering $20, but that may not be correct.

Also, I have been acting as the TLCA Board rep for the last year or so, but I'm not wedded to the position. If anyone else wants to give it a try, you are more than welcome. We can discuss more at the meeting if anyone is interested.

Evan

yes, dues are $20.

thanks for reminding me about the TLCA delegate position as well.

Thanks for that moment of horror. Thanks to the miracles of science (and a urologist), I don't need to worry about that. ;)

Just hope you had the blockade confirmed. I have a nephew who, as a young swimmer "overcame and conquered" the blockade to be around to day.

Did they name him Houdini?

Marc -

Have a great time! It should be a nice time of year to get out of town and enjoy some warm weather.

All this talk of snip, snip brings back some memories...

Sorry for hijacking this thread. At least some of you have had some fun at my expense. But just to make y'all jealous, the weather for all 8 days I will be there will be overnight lows ~55F and daytime highs ~75, with rain ~10% each day, starting out as "partly cloudy" and turning into "mostly sunny". I hope I see some Cruisers while I'm there. I'll get pictures if I see anything good. I considered taking a Unimog tour but knew I'd probably be bored as they wouldn't actually do any serious off-roading. So we'll just stick to the beach and historical parts of town.

You'll have a blast!

Don't forget to change out of the shorts and flip-flops for the plane ride home!
