So I get started on my front end reassembly today. Remove about a 1/4 left tube of Valvaline palladium from my gun and go to pop in the Amsoil......... DENIED!? Has anybody else experienced this? The remedy was simple enough; just cut off the rim with a razor knife. Strange.

Teaser pics of "easy" way to fill birf: grommet on end of greasegun. Just hold the trigger until the grease starts oozing out the bearings:D

I installed my Amsoil cartridges from the front of my gun. No go oly from the back of the gun. Thanks for the tip. I am getting ready for my rebuild.

Oooh oooh, I like that, mind sharing the source - or better yet, selling the "birf blaster" to us Mudders for a song?!?:cheers::cheers:

Is that a longfield birf?

The source is merely my hardware bins. It is a Plastic hole plug that I drilled out to fit a rubber grommet with a 1/2" inside diameter. I'd gladly give it to anyone but the shipping would be outweighed by the fact that it's only about $.50 worth of parts.

See reply to turbocruiser. Honestly, this thing can be made with the right sized rubber grommet and a fender washer or whatever. It just makes filling the birf so much cleaner and simpler.

If anyone would like a more detailed pic, I can get one:cheers:

Not to hi jack but what is a good brand of grease gun. Mine took a dump on me and I need to replace it. Thanks in advance for any info.
