Hi folks. Happy Sunday eve to you all.
Just wondeirng, before I start rabbiting on, am I in the right place to discuss LX's here? Im about 24 hours away from purchasing a GORGEOUS 2013 LX470. Had a foreign owner so super low ks and no hits more than a Theft From Auto report that had to have glass replaced and a COLLISION report that was 0.00 because it was no damage to the LX. Ive checked out tons of threads on here regarding the AHC system but wanted to really drill down to a solid solution for my situation. I have two 40 series so am usually in there harassing everyone lol.

I’m sure he was probably very nervous and hit the key four key instead of the five

hahahaha. yes. the nerves got to me! that or, fat old rock climbing fingers and possibly a beer or two. I still havent hit the dealer with an offer because Im secretly hoping a super low k 470 comes up before I need to make a move. (Freudian slip maybe in my original post). Im just having a real tough time accepting that this AHC can be reliable and searching for a total replacement system. read a ton of posts saying that its the best thing since sliced bread and i should just roll with it though too so maybe overthinking it? I have a bunch of other trucks but they are ALL diesels and I need something that im not going to kill by doing the short trips to the shops or picking up business partners from the ferry close by. the LX seems to hit all the buttons so maybe Im just delaying the inevitable. That being said the dollars need to make sense but I think the dealers had if for 2 months and is realizing that our economy is...ahem...changing.

Keeping the underside clean and rust free will definitely pay off and changing the AHC Globes is not a tough job, if needed.
I think you will be more than happy with the purchase.
