When I first got my LX 470 I got oem mudgaurds for a good deal but it turns out they are the rear ones. So just want to confirm these are for the fronts? I did get some hardware for them, which I think it right.
Here is link to the ones I’m wondering if they are correct front mudguards...
Hey everyone. I just realized I lost the trim piece on the passenger side rear of the roof rack somewhere. Was wondering if anyone had one lying around before I bought a brand new one. Thanks.
Ok, so this is another thread about front drive axle noises, but I couldn't find any other thread with those specific symptoms. Trying to put together everything I learned and think and look forward to comments.
Basic idea: reduce too much extra work and money by trying to apply logical thinking...

I recently got my 1990 FJ62 up and running, and after only about 2 months someone decided to t-bone me, so my front passenger door is a big crater. Any chance someone on here has a lead on a replacement? There are a couple on...
I need a lower right rear spring plate, the part that goes under the spring with the lower shock mount. From a 1990 or newer 70 series. This has the shock mount on the back side of the spring plate, not the front side of the spring plate. I am installing a rear sway bar and the forward...
Every time I see “special edition” badges on a vehicle I laugh a bit—given the posts about folks agonizing over where to place Heritage Edition badges on non-HE 200 series.
The grinding down of metal nubs and bending a logo, gluing it, and placing it oh so delicately—to look cool is hilarious...
I broke the pedestal on my passenger side turn signal today trying to remove the rusty mounting nut. Anyone have a decent one laying around they're not using? Not concerned about the condition of the lens since I can swap mine over.
Today's carnage...
i changed the oil, bought a battery, and had to unfreeze the primary butterfly. made sure it had spark and then did a gravity fed line to carb. (gotta replace some fuel line first,, when did autozone start charging 10$ a foot for 5/16 fuel line, wtf!??) quite pleased. now i gotta get a...

Now, I'm a bit confused by all the different setups people are running and...

I was driving this morning and noticed that every time I turned on my right blinker, my headlights would go out. In addition, I can’t turn off my high beams. I can cycle the control between low and high beams, but there’s no change and the high beam indicator remains lit in both settings...
Just had a local muffler shop install new exhaust pipe/muffler on my ‘78 FJ40. They ran the exhaust pipe below the rock guard and lower than the frame rail. Pretty sure that’s how the old one was too, but looks strange. Is this right?
Hey all,
We’ve recently started hearing a high pitched tone coming from the right rear of our truck (2011 gx460). It is coming from under the cover near the plug outlet. Assuming the inverter must be there & it is making the noise. Anyone ever have anything similar & if so what is the fix...
Hi folks. Happy Sunday eve to you all.
Just wondeirng, before I start rabbiting on, am I in the right place to discuss LX's here? Im about 24 hours away from purchasing a GORGEOUS 2013 LX470. Had a foreign owner so super low ks and no hits more than a Theft From Auto report that had to have...
I bought some radius arms a month or so back locally so I could do a bushing refresh on them without having any downtime on my rig. Fast forward to today, I hooked up a 32 ton air jack to my 12 ton press to press them out. They came out, but then after the last one, I noticed they were both bent...
80 has done this for quite some time, but now I'm getting annoyed by it....
I have a clunk occuring on the right side when going over bumps and lumps on the road. I went for a bit of off-road a few day ago and any rock or corrugation in the dirt tracks made it occur a lot and I'm not a fan of...
