I'm attempting to change out the AHC globes, fresh fluid, etc.
When I took readings today of the pressure it says 0.
There is no fluid in the system and the old globes are still on.
Last time I messed with this there was a leak on the drivers front. When I raised it fluid starting pissing everywhere. That's before I bought new globes

I was reading the pressure might be too high which could cause the fluid leak. Since I can't get a reading I'm really confused here.

And if you do have fluid in there, I've found that I need to have activated the pump by moving from L->N or N->H to get a reading registered. I believe that this is because the sensor is at the pump and the valves to the front/rear systems are only opened when going up.

Thank you! I do not have fluid and I was thinking the exact same thing.

Should I start with the new globes and adding fluid?

Obviously, after you add fluid, you will have to fix the leak and get the system under control, bled, tested, and then measure pressures. I wouldn't install the new globes until after this is all done, unless a globe is the source of the leak (unlikely, but possible).

I had a leak in the drivers front suspension area.

It drained all the fluid out. Without a lift it’s really hard to get in there
I’m at 260K miles.

Should I prepare for new struts?
Besides globes, what else other than the hydraulic lines?

If the leak is coming from the hydraulic shock itself then yes that’s due for replacement. If the leak is from the fitting on top, clean with degreaser + water and remove dirt. Inspect again see if the fitting may be just loose, then retighten accordingly.
