As far as fire danger, I'm in corporate aviation. We now carry fireproof bags in all our planes, not stowed but available in a moments
notice. Any one of a number of things can cause a battery to discharge or reverse and ignite. As stated above, it's not the potential its
the reality that when it does happen it won't be able to be extinguished. Scares the hell out of me. There were serious thermal
runaways with airplane batteries with new lithium about 15 yrs ago. We have all gone back to lead acid.
There are legit concerns. I won't say more, my brain is overloading on the last 4-5 battery stories that are in the news,
so often the stories overlap.

So perhaps for us. Batteries in a battery box, not literally hidden in the wall of your truck. I guess whatever your comfort level
is. But AGM, lead acid and as far as I know are stable. Protect them.
I've only got a fridge, it and starting my truck are the only 2 concerns I have. I also don't have the know how or the tech geek
curiosity to wire my truck for everything that many already have.

some input on semi flexible, Lensun 100W, FWIW I had it fastened at the corners ontop of my alum roof skin, 2 issues, it got hot af underside & alum skin got hot af & when towing at 70mph you dont think it would but it flaps and will break the conducters inside. E - I rolled/bent it about 30 degrees , did fine, the flapping or up & down from wind while towing broke the conducters, I could hold a curve in it and it would power up. So to fix, I got another one, mounted it on a piece of 8mm polycarb double wall, glued with e6000 from tap plastics, panel to poly, poly to roof skin then I fastened a alum transition strip for a doorway over the leading edge, this seems to be holding after 3 years and the heat is WAY less on the underside. IMO 100W is bare minimum for lights/fridge.etc to be stand alone for 3+ days so for those purchasing and wanting to go stand alone ( without starting vehicle) for say a week I would suggest 200W and I run 2 batts hooked together, simple, inexpensive and I have a manual so starting is not dependent on elec.

^^ What lithium fires are those? I am only talking about Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries here as a house battery in a truck or RV. I think that is what just about everybody else is talking about. And as far as I know there is no significant danger of fire with those. Do you know otherwise?
I found numerous sources supporting your post. Here's one of the most succinct:
