A good friend and Cruiserhead is stuck in Big Pine Key, Florida with a seized distributor on a newly purchased 1987 FJ73 (carb'd 3F). We believe the vehicle has an aftermarket HEI style distributor. A 2F dizzy out of an FJ60 along with the coil would be a direct fit and would get them back on the road.

Is anyone in the vicinity and able to offer assistance of any kind?

Can anyone recommend a shop familiar with Land Cruisers in this area?

Can anyone recommend a wrecking yard that might have a Land Cruiser in this area?

Please reach out to me asap on my cell phone (801-518-3937) if you have any help to offer. Thanks in advance!

I wish I was close enough to help, but that's down there!

I also wish I even knew anyone south enough to be 'close'...

I'm not any help here, but I'll keep my ears open and see if I can find someone that CAN help.

Thanks for the replies gents. They ended up renting a truck to haul it home. Thanks again!

How far north are they heading? If they get as far as Gainesville I am Deo (mel lowe) could sell them those parts. I'm happy to wrench in Orlando if they have issues there.

Thanks again for the replies gents. They are home safe and sound now and working on swapping in a stocker dizzy and coil :D

Wait that was Greg Miller?!?!? I really hope to get to visit his museum someday.
