Albuquerque environs January 12-13

I'm going to be in Albuquerque on Sat/Sun January 12-13 and would like to do a little wheeling. Alia176 has offered up his passenger seat, but suggested that I post up here and try to generate a little interest from others too. I know nothing about the trails around Albuquerque and so can't suggest any particular place to go , but if you're interested please reply and we'll try to get something organized.

(I reside in the San Francisco Bay Area. Have done many trails here in California, Oregon, and Utah, but no offroading yet in AZ. Love all the photos I've seen, so it would be great to see some of this stuff up close.)

Nah, let him figure it out when the plane lands. Of course, he could have meant Amarillo, Ashville, or Atlanta, since they're all in Arizona. I'm pretty sure he didn't mean Phoenix, since that would be in the Land of Enchantment! John

Usually it's just the states in the far east that look all the same from out here on the left coast. But I should certainly know AZ from NM. What a goof.
