So my alarm keeps going off for no reason, it happened three times yesterday, and several times tonight.
My battery was all but dead when leaving work tonight and the ABS relay was clicking.
I needed a new battery anyway, so I replaced that.
Also the HVAC fan is staying on, I pulled the relays for the fan and ABS, I will put them back in in the morning and then remove again once I get to work.
My truck does have a remote starter, but I did not install it and I do not have a remote for it.
I cannot find any info on this.
It is a 2004.

How are your door lock actuators? I have had my alarm go off after a few minutes when my door locks haven't fully locked because the motors are weak. At least that is what I think... Rebuilding the actuators are on my list of things to do.

My actuators are fine. They all work great.
I've had zero problems until now, it's been in rain, deep puddles, many automatic car washes and no problems until now.

Figured out the problem.
And yes, the tornado was part of the problem.

And I had the remote car starter removed, it had a spare key in the remote starter and that is why the truck thought there was a key in the ignition.

I also had the windshield replaced.

So yeah, the heavy rain from the tornado leaked into the dash from a windshield leak and caused problems with the remote starter and other electrics.

I'm having this issue too - just replaced all my door lock actuators a few months back except the trunk. So I took the trunk one out totally until I can get the new one in later this week. Alarm still going off. Should I just disconnect the alarm permanently? Is that even possible and is that a stupid idea? Any thoughts would be appreciated!
