Did it sell at B J again last year? This thing has showed up on mud a few times. a simple search of Alan Jackson brought up this https://forum.ih8mud.com/search.php?searchid=10170170 I do believe it was Alan Jackson who had TLC do the restore. Seems a Billy Joel owned FJ40 done by TLC was in a thread here also.

That much for an upside down bezel, the wrong hub caps, and non original engine?
Still very nice..........
Wonder if it has the ball and claw front end or birfields.

Barrett Jackson

It has sold twice at BJ. First time for 87k and second for 79k, if i remember correctly. It's at 63k right now. Interesting to see if it pushes 80k again. As the owner of a nice LV (not a jonathan ward masterpiece but a pretty nice one none-the-less) it's cool to see what these can bring. I've never understood the 40k 40, but LVs don't grow on trees.
