Stopped in the trail to the Canwell Glacier, previously reported on two years ago, to check out the little lake that was located in a picturesque location to see about camping there overnight. It was raining most of the way down the Richardson and here at the lake. So decided didn’t want to camp in the rain all night, but still wanted to try climbing the trail behind the lake, which we hadn’t done the last time there. It had a couple of pretty steep sections. Drove up in 2nd 4LO. Drive down in 1st 4LO. Between the mud tires and the 3:1 low range I hardly slipped any, surprisingly. Probably wouldn’t have made it with AT tires.
Unfortunately didn’t get any pics of the climb.
