Have you thought of offering a single 50% width platform? Ideally with the sleeper extension, as it should be wide enough for a single occupant on a MegaMat?
Ditto on the above question.

200 series iteration? Not sure if a non-wing version would be plug and play or not. I'll take some measurements this weekend to check.

We think the 200 series would be a near drop in. The wings will need modifications, but the main platform would likely drop right in.

If you can grab some dimensions we can verify fitment of the main section and estimate what needs to happen with the wings!

The 50/50 split is tough because we want it to be anchored very well. We've got a few ideas for that, but haven't gotten past theory on the topic.

Truck currently has 11” ARB drawers which are pretty close to being level with the folded 2nd row seats. At their highest point the folded 2nd row is a little over 13”.

Width at the narrowest section of the cargo area is just under 52”.

Depth from 2nd row seat backs to tailgate is 43”.

Wings as pictured:

Thanks for the info! Since this post we were able to complete an installation on a 2018 200 series LC. The main platform dropped in with some small modifications to anchor points and upright lengths, and we were even able to make the existing wings work for a prototype. We have designed and 3D-printed feet that will address the upright length, and have some 200 specific wings being made by our CNC vendor as we speak.

Here's a link to the 200 series thread we have started, so we can keep this thread specific to the 100. AirDownGearUp SS1: Storage, Sleeper and Drawer System for 200 series

Also, check out the new website! We updated the whole site to streamline your search for a system specific to your vehicle. The new site also makes it easier to build up the exact system you are looking for. Let us know what you think!

Website looks great! Definitely interested in ordering a sleeping setup with a drawer or 2. Curious if you still offer Bed Liner as an option?

Thanks for the kind words on the website! We'd be happy to get you set up with a sleeping system and drawers! Lead time is currently running 2-3 weeks and we are always taking orders! You can place orders directly on the website, and as always feel free to reach out for more discussion at info@airdowngearup.com

We are no longer offering a pre-bedlined option. Our sales volume has increased to a point where we need to focus our labor hours to ensure reliable, short lead times to all our customers which has made it difficult to support the time and logistics that go into bedlining. We have put together a DIY guide to bedlining where we outline the materials, tools, and process that goes into bedlining a platform. If you are comfortable with (for example) rolling on paint for a room in a house, you should be in good shape for bedlining. You can also DIY for a fraction of the price of what we found we had to charge.

Have you thought about making a 50/50 set up so a single jump seat could be run?

We have been receiving a lot of requests for a 50/50 system! We don't currently have an offering for this, but this is certainly on the short list of projects that we will be exploring. We will continue to explore how best to facilitate this offering and will post any updates on this thread.

Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for new developments.

Just a little sneak peek at a semi-custom build we're doing for a 60 series owner. It will use the 100 series main panels with our 5th Gen 4Runner slide out sleeper. 100 + 5G4R = 60?

Solidworks rendering lighting is still new to me so it looks a little funny, but not too shabby for a first run, I think.

If this system shows up at HIHX for the raffle, it’ll just might have to get my ticket!

There miiiiiight just be a new Air Down Gear Up material launching this summer on the SS1 and making an appearance in the HIHX raffle.... ;)

Got my SS1 assembled and carpeted. Used it once already sans carpet and it was awesome. I’ve never done carpet before — wasn’t bad just took longer than I’d have guessed.

Safe to assume the new stuff will be compatible with the current storage system?
Yes. The design hasn't changed beyond a few tweaks and add-ons. All retro-fittable one way or another.

Can you please provide a link to the t-slot nuts that you use. I need to get a few more. Thanks

Sure thing! These nuts will do the trick: 3313

Got anything particularly exciting planned with those?

Made an addition to the SS1 drawer! As with the rest of the system, this would be available as an option with the drawer or as a modular add-on feature that can be retrofitted to existing drawers. This is a prototype made with some simple aluminum angle and some left-over platform scrap.

We are thinking we'd have some kind of design/logo cut into the aluminum, and would offer the extension in something hygienic like HDPE to allow easy cleanup. There are stops built into the underside that prevent the extension from sliding forward when stowed or from being removed too far when in use, and they also provide tension to keep the assembly rattle-free while driving.

We were able to sneak in one test of this before the quarantine hit, and it's a great addition! So, what do you guys think, is this something you be interested in?
