Two things:
First, now that it’s getting colder, I’ve noticed my air flow selector is stuck on auto. It’s not a terrible inconvenience, but it would be nice to be able to de fog the front windshield.

Second, where can I pick up some new HVAC control knobs?

Dude. Tune the brightness down on your dash lights. How can you even see to drive?

If you hit the defrost button it won't switch to defrosting the windshield?

Night time pics tend to be bright, and the defrost button is the rear window.

Stuck meaning the dial won't turn or turning it doesn't change anything?

You should be able to get dials knobs thorough the dealer.

If the knob is wobbly, pull the knob, there is a nut behind the knob, on the shaft that needs tightened.

The knobs physically turn. When the middle one is turned off AUTO, like in the picture, it doesn’t change the selection. It’s stuck on AUTO. The direction automatically changes depending on the temperature setting, but I can’t manually change the direction.

I have the same issue 2 years ago. I removed the control panel and all the connectors. Then I just plugged the panel back again and the issue was solved afterwards.

Update:
I finally got around to this. I ended up fixing my control issue by unplugging and plugging in again all the HVAC control connectors. Thanks chenbowen for the idea.

Something new everyday! This is why I love manually operated hvac systems!
