Wow 15-30psi in a 1 1/2min on a 35. Where do you find the Q89 and what is the cost? I want one.
this is kind of interesting: just opened up the newest 4 Wheel Parts Wholesale catalogue to find this exact compressor being sold under the Smittybuilt brand name for $69.99......

Looks identical to my mv-50, except mine doesn't have the embroidery on the carrying case.

Looks the same to me, except for the carrying case.
More importantly it works the same as well.

Costco had the twin for ~$150 online, it looks to be discontinued.
I prefer two singles, my reasoning; The twin doesn't put out as much air as two singles, a pair of singles are cheaper than a twin and if one dies the other will still pump up the tires.

I bought a couple of these and I have been quite pleased with them. I did have a problem blowing fuses but I figured out how to avoid this problem- turn the compressor on before hooking it up to a tire. It works fine as long as you don't try to start with a load on the head.
They will also blow fuses if you're running them without the truck running.
I liked my MV-50 that I picked up at Kragen for ~$20 when they closed them out.
Lasted about ~18 months before the motor quit; which was about 2 months less than my buddy who also brought one at the same time before his gave out also.
Ended up picking up the HF 150psi Viair 400p clone as pictuted below for $39 (49 sale price - 10 Coupon)
About 35% faster than then my MV-50 with 35’s., tad bit larger but still fits in the MV bag with the botton plate removed. Happy with it so far after 3 months, their warranty was about half the cost of the unit so I passed but lets see how long this one lasts.

My buddy mentioned that the sealed pre oiled compressor’s don’t seem to last as long as the ones you add oil to but my ARB in my other truck has been going strong for 6 years now so I wonder about that.

I got my dual compressor Q89 at 4wheelparts. If one of the compressors craps out, I guess I'll just have to put it up for sale on mud
You guys are missing the main selling point of the Q89.............chrome baby! Nothin' attracts the fine womens at the end of a trail like a chromed out compressor.

I have never had one blow a fuse, always hook it to the tire then turn it on. They run much faster with the motor running, so I always leave the motor running until done airing up.
When battery voltage drops amp increase = blown fuse. The compressor will run more efficient by the motor running producing full voltage.
I posted this somwhere else, but I bought the Costco unit about a month ago. First time out using it at the end of the trail and we got some sparks coming from the end of the compressor where the power leads go in. Blew the fuse. Took it apart - the crimps on the power lead inside the unit are CRAP. You might want to replace them as a precautionary measure. My fuse holder melted so i took it back.
