I emailed Dave Stedman in Japan and inquired about a possible group buy for AHC spacers. Currently, without any discount, they would be about $185.00 US Dollars. He has asked his supplier about getting a discount if we can get 5 or more to go in on this. I am new to all things AHC but like the idea of keeping the system together and making it more robust for adding additional weight.

Let me know if your interested.

Count me in for a set.

Sorry for the delay on getting the pics. Christmas prep has had my time all tied up. The AHC spacers ARE shocks spacers. They are NOT coil spring spacers. It allows the AHC shock to ride at the factory location in the shock travel. Your not riding at the extended length with only about 1" of down travel. There is about 3" of down travel with these. That's still terrible compared to a straight axle 80 but a LOT better than only 1" of down travel I originally have with the lift. I was bottoming out the shocks on speed bumps in parking lots. That is not good.
Be aware that at first glance the online numbers seem wrong. I was told the front are 60mm of extension and the rears are 40mm. The rear's ARE 40mm but the front were only at 30mm of extension. I was scratching my head on what the issue was. Once installed I understood how they measured the 60mm. The spacer sits up on the lower a-arm. At that point it IS only 30mm but out at the tire the angle is more significant and that is where the 60mm total is gained. The rear isn't sitting on an angled piece of the suspension so how it measures at the shock is the same as how it would measure at the wheel. Not the case for the front suspension.
Sorry for all the mud. It's been going back and forth between rain and snow the last few days making a muddy mess of my driveway and street. I planned to hose them off but the hose is full of ice right now. Here's a pic of the front and rear installed.

I don't know much about these spacers, but from the pics I would be very carful about running these it the rear! The shock is designed to pivot on the factory bolt, when you spin them around like the pic, it will destroy the the bushing and possibly break off the end of the shock while articulating.

Is there a different shocks at a longer length that could be used instead?

Has not been an issue for me. I have been running the rear shock extension bracket for 10 years and 60k miles on the same rear, AHC shock bushings. They could probably be replaced now but that is normal wear and tear.

Is that street or trail miles? It wouldn't cause an issue on the road. If you do a lot of twisty trails is when you would have an issue. Like I said I have no experience with these spacers but I do know that is not the correct position for the shock. Just my 2cents

Do yours look like the pics above? I wonder why they would not build them to keep the shock turned the right way?

I'm interested. Our driving is 95% streets and 5% light off-road (improved dirt trails/ranch roads) do this would give me the front leveling I'd like to achieve to help make up for the additional weight from the dissent bumper. I am fully aware that springs are the best option for that but based on my use and the light weight of the dissent, I think it should be sufficient.

Once you get the info on price, please let me know where to send $

A fair share of trail miles... on trails a 100 shouldn't really be on. ;)

Here is a current pic of the bushing with 160k miles on it. The front AHC shock bushings, I have had to change about 20k miles ago.

I understand what you are saying and had my concerns as well but it has been non-issue. There are several manufacturers of these brackets. Here is another design (TK Tech) with a bushing on the lower mount that would allow more rotation.

The under side of your rig looks like it has seen its fair share of rocks[emoji6]
Maybe the 100 series does not articulate enough to cause an issue? I have seen several instances where the shock head has snapped off do to improper orientation of the shock, but this has been more in the rock crawling world.

If your looking at different shocks then you are already removing the AHC which means the spacers are pointless. If your going to swap shocks might as well go with a full SLEE suspension and call it done.
