Title kind of says it all. anybody attempted to do a leveling kit or adjust AHC to level or lift vehicle permanently yet? Would like a level look, or eventually be able to run 35’s without having to install Portals.

Just know when you install leveling kits on any trucks, when you load cargo or pull a trailer, they will have a more pronounced ugly squat stance and may cause understeer (when loaded heavily). They do look good unloaded.

Photo not mine, i just found it on the web,

Not sure that would be the same here, as the AHC auto-levels. So if I lifted the front to level it, recalibrated, then when a load is added, the AHC would lift the rear again...

Thats a maybe though because you only get so much up and down.

What you probably could do is adjust the height adjustment arms so H1 is H2 and N is H1.

Doubt you would fit 35s without it being stuffed? Maybe 295/70/18 Recon Grappler or 315/70/17 Goodyear? Little smaller and not super heavy.

On a side note I bet that little 250 cruiser was an absolute joy to drive with that oversized heavy tire combo and travel trailer!

Oh, that little 4 banger must have been screaming (literally) for help on inclines. I am sure the owner would say otherwise though...

And on any scale those Falkins usually rate as absolute heaviest.

Transmission was definitely crying.

That won’t help you fit 35s and you certainly don’t need portals to do so.

Have you tried adjusting the height sensors? On the 100 and 200 series AHC trucks there are height sensors at each corner that you can adjust and set the neutral ride height about 1-1.5” higher.

If you have techstream there is also a height offset utility.

Someone here has already done the sensor lift, I just forget their handle.

Otherwise Long Travel AHC should similar to the 200 vis-à-vis @TeCKis300

I’ve done it… nets 1” of extra lift. I suppose you could adjust just the front to help level it.

Lowering the rear causes the system to bottom out in L, which raises the vehicle back into N so don’t do that.

The arms are easy to adjust so it’s simple to play around with it. Just loosen the bolt on the adjustment arm and slot it all the way down to lift the truck.

Did you need an alignment after doing this?

No, but I’ve been thinking about getting one. Done it with all my other trucks after lifting even though this was only an inch and nothing feels off.

I’ll probably have it done in h1 since that’s how I normally drive around.
