AHC leveling/lift, anything other than portals? (4 Viewers)

What is the actual intended purpose of being able to modify this sensor? Is the idea that for what ever reason your suspension isn’t level this would help you adjust individual wheels to make the car level? That seems insanely analog and how is “level” even determined? What tool would you use to positivity identify deviation.

Sorry if this is a stupid question

I’ve done it… nets 1” of extra lift. I suppose you could adjust just the front to help level it.

Lowering the rear causes the system to bottom out in L, which raises the vehicle back into N so don’t do that.

The arms are easy to adjust so it’s simple to play around with it. Just loosen the bolt on the adjustment arm and slot it all the way down to lift the truck.

One more question...does it need to be in specific height when you do the adjustment, or does it not matter? I'm assuming it will automatically adjust to the new setting when the vehicle is turned on? I'm just surprised it seems this easy to make an adjustment like this.

Bringing back this post about

Bringing back this post...thanks for the picture, got some questions. I'm looking to just level out the front of my AHC. When adjusting the arms it looks like you can adjust it to any position in the bracket, or do you have to slide it all the way? I haven't looked at mine yet, so this may be a dumb question, but does it need to be in any certain height mode when doing the adjustment?
And you said you've found no issues so far...so if I were to raise the front an inch, it would stay that way in all modes, so even when it automatically lowers at highway speed, it stays level right? And essentially, if you decide to do all four, you get a "free" 1" lift. Have you tested to see if it still raises up in 4lo?
You can position to any point a long the slot. Doesn’t need to be all the way at the top or the bottom. I did mine in N with the vehicle off. Starting with the front first then doing the back. After adjusting, I turned the car on and cycled through all the settings.

I’d assume it’s there to correct lean if you have it.
