So my 96 LX had an aftermarket Clifford Matrix +1 alarm installed. It was annoying and kept getting set off, so I started to pull it.

Now I’m confused- I have a 12-pin connector that was just dangling, not connected to anything, but they cut and spliced into four of the wires on that connector for the Clifford. Now that I’ve cut the alarm system out, I can’t figure out what to plug the connector into. I’ve traced the harness and can’t seem to find a female 12-pin between the drivers seat and firewall. Anyone have any ideas?

It seems like whoever installed it pulled most of the RS3000, but not all of it? The wiring to the security light in the dash was there but just cut and dangling, and the 3 connectors where the factory alarm was are connected like it was removed.

a couple more photos of what it was:

Follow every wire coming off the alarm and remove it and fix however they tapped into them. I've installed thousands of alarms back in the 90s I was a shop Forman at a high end stereo shop.

Already did that.

The issue is that 12-pin connector they tapped into right before (first photo) doesn’t have anywhere to go that I can find. They left it dangling.

Probably doesn't go to anything.
It's possible, but when I read through all the threads on deleting the RS3000 and other alarms, it sounded like when the original system is removed, you should be able to plug all the connectors that were used into something. I'm pretty sure this is a 12-pin connector that fits the RS3000 harness. Thus the confusion.
