Aftermarket Air Intake Cleaner Hose a bit longer than OEM

I bought an aftermarket Air Intake Cleaner Hose for my 97 LX450 and it's longer than my original OEM one. Now the question is which side should I trim, Air Intake one or the Throttle Body one. Thanks

As a warning, don’t use Chinese aftermarket. I have a truck here that drives like crap because his hose is collapsing under load

Cut the middle out. Use Scotch tape to seal. Atone for your sins of buying non-OEM components for your cruiser.

Is that hose the correct part number for your 97 FZJ80??
Brand name, where purchased or shipped from??

Either way, agree with all above: Chynna = Sheit, stick
with OEM if available.
