As talked about early, my cruiser has made it into print. Last month was the article about a trail run we did. This is where the editor of Four Wheeler saw the wagon and then asked Jay, my writer friend, to do a feature. This month the feature is out. I am pretty happy with both articles as I think we did the Land Cruiser community right.

Great article. Your should have been on the cover instead of the Rover.

Finally got a new windshield installed properly and had the rear hatch redone. It turned out great. Dropped it off this am at Bell Glass here in Phoenix and picked it up early this afternoon. I am impressed and they even stock the channel stuff I need for the doors. I'll get that later though. All looks good and seems really solid.

Not sure if you've seen THIS online version. Great looking LV. I hope to get the one I recently acquired up and running soon.

Thanks for the link. I didn't know the online article was posted yet. Good luck with your build. The LV's are great and everybody seems to love them. It's a real conversation starter too.

My old stamped steal valve cover has some leakage. So, I pick up this later model cast aluminum valve cover and had it polished up. Plus it should enhance the under hood appeal of the wagon.

That filter is orange cause it's a Fram.

Took the wagon out for a short cruise this am. Went up by one of our wheeling areas to check out the changes due to all the rain lately. The creek had alittle flow and there was a lot of fresh sand everywhere. The desert was nice and green as well.

THe LV sitting to a Grand Dad Alligator Juniper. The two go nicely

I think it looks better. Thanks.

Those alligator junipers are my favorite tree here in AZ. One like pictured is probably over 300-600 years old.

Started working on the doors and making the windows roll up. Welded up all the wholes from the PO old man door latches. Cleaned up and painted the inside of the door tops. Next is new weather strip and assembly.

I put the doors and windows all back together with new weather strip I sourced from a few places. The channel type I picked up from a local glass shop. The outer door wiper is from JC Whitney. For the inner wiper, I reused the oem metal strip and glued new felt out to it. You could easily find something new to use, but I wanted to get this project done and my do with what I had. I ended up rtv ing the window to the bottom channel piece the regulator rides on. The stock rubber was wasted and I didn't have any other solution. I think it will work fine.

I am waiting for my "glue" to dry before I roll up the windows. The new outer wiper looks nice already.
