Took the wagon on a nice trip over the weekend. A small group of us headed to Jerome to explore a few trials and check out some sites. It was about a 250 mile round trip with plenty of dirt, mud, rocks (dented my rear quarter panel alittle) and even rain.
We ran the Blue Monster trail, then hit Jerome for lunch and a visit to the Gold King Mine (I love this place). Then we headed over and ran the Smiley Rock Trail, camped up top on Woodchute Mountain, got poured on, then head home via the Mingus Mountain Trail.

Thanks to whitey45 for the jack mount and a good deal on ebay for the jack. I am alittle closer to making the 40 self sufficient. I have also picked up a few more oem tools. Not the current vintage, but better than nothing.

Thanks for sharing all the pictures of your adventures. Great trails, mountains, cool rusty bone yards...makes me want to move to AZ.

Your tool roll is coming along very well Jack. Is that a reproduction tool roll available here on Mud?

Its actually an original. A friend picked it up for me. The son of the original owner had it. No tools though.

Finally got the rear lift springs installed that I bought like 4 months ago. They are supposed to be 3 inch lift. I forgot to do my before measurements. The new ones only lifted the rear about 1 1/2 over my old setup. Bummer is it rotated the pinion and now I have major vibes at 40 and above. Plus it looks like it will be axle wrap central.....no good. I think I will try a steel shim to fix the issues, but ultimately I am leaning towards putting the old springs back on. They are well tested and hi speed approved.
