I am the third owner of an FJ80 JDM that was imported to Uganda. Would be interested in sending to the states for the right price. I can get compression tests on engine or any other information if there is genuine interest. I would be interested in somewhere around 25K

Just the shipping alone and export tariffs would be quite a bit.
 
It’s a hard price point. You can get 1hd for around that price point. 3F isn’t as loved and 80s aren’t that rare.

If you get a 70 series diesel from there for that price point, that would be worth it
 
Interesting. I would not have thought that is an issue? What are the implications of importing with the engine in it?
Rejection at port.

Vin has to decode to same sort of engine that is in the truck. You could put the truck in the container along with engine and whatever else and that would be fine, but the truck has to have same engine as it came from factory.
