I have a 2016 white LC200 with 42k miles that will be on sale soon. I order the truck summer of 2016. My 2017 GX460 did most of the winter duty. KDSS value was covered in marine grade grease since new. Reason of selling, picking up a 2022 TRD pro 4runner. PM me if you are interested.

Still looking. Thanks for the offer but white would be a last choice (personal preference only). Most of the trucks I'm seeing are either to far away from me or out of the rust states. Did test drive an SC car, but the interior was beat up a bit by kids food and car seats, had an aftermarket ceiling mounted DVD player that rattled like crazy, had 2 small paint peeling spots on the hood, KDSS valve on driver side frame rail looked pretty corroded , and some scuffs all around from whacking the garage corners. Was a disappointing test drive, but at least it was only 30 miles away. Might have been more interested if it was clean and didn't have the weird paint peeling and scuffs. To bad people don't take care of their stuff.

I live in a "rust state".
My under carriage is super clean.

I rinse under all my cars during the winter season and have not had any rust issues to note.
They also make fluid film to spray underneath to protect it for an affordable rate.

just throwing that out there so you are not limited your search...

It is reasonable to assume that most vehicles from rust states aren’t as clean as yours, so it’s also reasonable to just exclude them. Plus with all the effort you put into yours I’m sure you would want a premium if you went to sell it, compared to rusty local examples.

Well, think my patience paid off. Think I found one. Looks pretty clean for a 2017 with 28k miles.

Factory fresh. These trucks don’t disappoint.

I should be a member of the 200 club by tomorrow afternoon! Been a long search, and took an insane amount of persistence to find a clean low miles truck! Thank you for all of your input and advice. I will post pictures once delivered. It looks like it still has the stock tires on it. How many miles and how is the performance of the stock grandtreks? I've been running KO2's on my 4Runner, on my second set and have been very happy with them for my driving needs. Will put KO2's on the LC , Just wondering how the stocks have performed and how long they wear for given average mixed driving conditions. Really, how long until I can justify the upgrade! Thanks everyone.

Dunlop’s are pure crap. Bfg’s are a very good upgrade.

Would love to hear the details of your deal - namely the price you managed to negotiate.

Congrats

The (fun part ) hunt is over....Congrats!

I really don't consider this a deal, but this was my plan when I bought the 4Runner. To hand it down to my son. Didn't know they would be discontinued, pandemic would come, supply would become scarce, and prices would be like this. Even with the inflated prices, I stuck to my plan/dream of the LC. You only live once, things can change quickly, do what you like while you can, don't look back or procrastinate.

I paid $79, certified 2017, 28k miles, MGM. Still has original dunlops! figured certified warranty worth a few $k. Wasn't much of a negotiation, I've been looking and test driving for a while. I was hoping for $70k, quickly realized for low miles I would need to bump up and to get a non-rusty undercarriage I would have to leap quickly, which is what I did. I searched constantly on all of the apps, this one popped up on cargurus and I snatched it immediately. My 2012 TE 4runner has 236k on it now and I will keep it rolling and I will drive the LC until it can't be driven any more!

Fat lady hasn't sung yet, I bought remotely and it is being delivered today. Underside pictures hopefully indicate body condition. I did see the photos and talk to the dealer in depth about my expectations of a clean vehicle. Fingers crossed I made a good buy. If not, I've got some tissues.

Congratulations.

That’s an insane price but you’re in a 200 now.

Congrats. That one looks as clean as my '13 did when I purchased it from a Houston dealer in '16. Slather the KDSS screws with marine grease and spray the undercarriage with fluid film or similar once a year and you'll be surprised how long you can maintain close to that condition.

I can't speak to the Dunlops but the factory Bridgestones were "fine" as street tires go, but very underwhelming for me in snow or offroad. Granted mine were not new when I got the truck, but I was very pleased to move to an AT tire (despite the MPG hit you take)

Officially in an LC! Truck showed up and it is better than I expected. Near perfect condition outside, inside, underneath and engine bay!! Dealer even put on new tires without even telling me, which is nice and sucks at the same time. Wish he would have though, now I have brand new duellers ht. I would have taken the credit and put some AT's on. First priorities are floor mats and window tint, then tires, then sliders.

Thanks for all of the advice everyone! So far truck is great! Rides a good bit different than the 4runner, more body roll and looser steering. Steering wheel is also a lot less grippy. Might just be until the dealers detailing stuff wears off. A lot more touch screen interactions vs manual knobs, particularly for the climate controls. The ride is much smoother and really like the adaptive cruise control, and V8 power!

Been weeding through the floor liner threads, lots of different opinions, surprised to see a lot of people using different liners for front, middle, 3rd and rear. Mine came with the OEM rear mat and carpet mats up front/middle. Going to stick with rear mat for a while then maybe go the australian route. Leaning toward husky for front and 2nd. Have weathertechs in the 4runner and they have been fine, but sounds like not as good of a fit in LC? The maxpider don't look bad, but seems like need some more time/reviews. Thanks again for all the input during my search!

Go Husky for the fronts for sure.

Go Husky for the fronts for sure.
Why "for sure"? I admit I was on the fence after reading all of the threads, but I think weathertechs might win for me since they are much higher on the inside sides. I tend to rest my right foot against the center while driving. I've had them in my 4runner for 10 years now with no complaints at all. The half exposed dead pedal never bothered me in the runner, even if some stuff has been getting in the gap. Its a dirty spot in the carpet I never see except when cleaning the mats, then I clean that spot. think thats a better compromise than rubbing nastiness from the outside of my right boot.

Weathertechs use a harder/crappier plastic that is prone to warping. IMHO, the Husky has better coverage, feels better, looks better, and holds up better and I have run multiples of both makes in Toyotas, RAM's and Ford's. I have no experience with the Maxpider mats but a buddy has them in his 200 and they look nice but I prefer a plastic for ease of cleaning.
