So, my Trollhole is working _almost_ perfectly, but I'm getting hesitation on acceleration (mostly from idle), and slightly sluggish acceleration (most noticeable cold; I'd kind of describe it as a 'flat spot' in the 2200-2700 rpm range). On more gentle acceleration, it does fine, and it is putting out a reasonable amount of power (I had no trouble getting up to 60 for the freeway).
I adjusted the accelerator pump linkage, which seemed to help, but it's still a little balky, which is not fun on seattle hills. As well, the fuel level in the sight glass is slightly below the bottom of the 'normal' range.
So, it seems like I should adjust the float to run a little higher, right?
If that's the case, I'm wondering if there are any tricks to minimize the amount of work, like to keep from ruining the airhorn gasket etc. (I do have a brand new 2F rebuild kit handy, though, from before I got the Trollhole).
Thanks!
