Hi All,
I don't want to let this go too long before I repair it.
Any recommendations for adhesives and prepping the surface before reattaching?

I live in Tucson; stoopid hot and very dry. If that matters for choosing an adhesive to remount the badge.
Thanks in advance.

3M trim adhesive - comes in a toothpaste like tube. Works really well for that sort of thing.

I second the 3m trim adhesive. Available at most auto parts stores and most likely the Walmart. Or use JB weld and fuse it to the metal for eternity.

I used some 2 part epoxy stuff (Sea-Goin) I had laying around and that was 6 years ago. I live in Tucson also, so it obviously stands up to the heat.

3m two sided tape. Stick it to the back of the badge, trim the excess, and you're gtg. I used it to re-stick all my badging on after I repainted it and its still holding strong.

x2, my GTP badges were misaligned from the factory so I repositioned them with double-sided tape. Worked extremely well.

I just pulled mine off instead. Looks nice a clean without it. And as someone I met said "if they have to ask what model of vehicle it is, then it is not important to them!"
