Last week I sold my 97 450lx so i had an empty spot in the drive... so happened up on a 2000 lx470 with a stack of records and all recent service less than 5 door dings (which i'll work on this week) good leather southern never off road well cared for truck... think it is the kinda metallic dark silver... with tan leather NAV delete :) :) only real issue is the gold emblems yuck and some of the burl wood trim is buckling ....
only have driven it once and didn't even drive before I purchased so I'll spend a few hours crawling over it this weekend... but so far... seems pretty nice...

any advice on the gold emblem removal and on the wood overlay trim removal

Use a heat gun to activate adhesive backing. Then on body emblems use fish-line or dental floss to saw off. With interior, heat then just peel off. Be careful not to overheat body paint or interior plastic.
Emblem Ideas

I'm became a fan of gold over past 14 years, since came with my rig. Gold matches my Lic plate holders which I really like, and have held up incredibly well... appear to be sold brass. Also I've no need for Land Criuser emblem with my holders. While looking for Black pearl & Gold OEM emblems I found the Dealer's no longer have access to, so they are become unicorns.

Looks like River rock Mica (1C3). I just sold a 2000 LX with that color (Graybear) with 270K to a mechanic for $7.2K, that was pretty rough around the edges.

2001lc is mining for gold, he may want them.
Thanks for thinking of me. I'm only interested in "A" condition Gold or Black Pearl emblems and letters.

I'm may just go with clear 3m film or one @Ali FJ80 point me too, for my rear upper hatch. My first choice for hatch's lower edge (paint guard pad), would be the 50th Anniversary badge. I'd really like about 18" X 2 1/2" to give good coverage.

The OEM are ~5"x 1" by the looks of them, which I'm thinking are too small. Anyone know where I can get larger please speak up?
