Hey all, not sure how much traffic the small business section in the classifieds gets but we just launched a cool new light mounting option for solid axle cruisers. The Cruiser Cult and our new Adaptive Light Brackets for solid axle cruisers - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/the-cruiser-cult-and-our-new-adaptive-light-brackets-for-solid-axle-cruisers.1259874/

A bit about ourselves: We are a group of cruiser-heads who wanted to come together and not only share our love for these amazing vehicles but develop some cool and thoughtful products for them as well. Check out our IG account @the_cruiser_cult (The Cruiser Cult ) for more info on us and what we have been up to! Lots of great content from historical facts, interviews with experts in the cruiser world and our own generated content.

We are excited to release our first product. Adaptive light brackets for solid axle Land Cruisers! These awesome little brackets allow you to mount small powerful lights to the knuckles of your cruiser giving you directional light where you need it the most! These were designed to mount on the 40,60,70,80 series (pics show them on a FJ62 and FZJ80) and likely and 1979-1986 Toyota trucks. They come pre-bent, unpainted and with stainless steel mounting hardware. Some final bending/adjustments will be needed depending on the lights you are mounting and orientation of the brackets. Check out the below for a video of them in action! We have an introductory (for two weeks) price of $75 for the pair. Check out www.cruisercult.com .
Let us know if you have any questions! We have more cool and diverse products on the way. :cheers:

Read important notes below for additional info about mounting:
*Off-road use only.
*80/105 series owners will not need the included mounting hardware and can reuse their stock knuckle bolts.
*If you are running stock suspension and bumpers may want to mount the brackets with the lights down low so the light clears the front bumper. Folks running lifts 3" and over or with high clearance bumpers, you can run them either way.
*Some additional bending of the mounting tab and adjusting of the bracket may be required depending on your needs.
*Works for factory steering configuration. High-steer and three link systems need to be tested. Contact us with questions.

Interested in a pair of the brackets, BUT need a bit of info on the light used..
I have a '74 FJ40, other than a V-8 Cadillac Engine, the beast is stock.. That said,
I'm putting a 4" lift kit on it and four wheel disc brakes.. if that makes any difference.
Is the light unit "yellow beam" only? Is it "waterproof" (not just "water resistant")?
Also, how "bullet proof" are the lights? (given it's "right down in the rocks" ;-} )
Any (and all) detailed info you can supply would be greatly appreciated..
Thanks.

Thanks @gnob :)
@JAG666 we are just selling the brackets and letting the end user decide what lights or other accessories (like a camera) they would want to mount on them. The lights we are using in the pics are just a set off of amazon, nothing fancy but they are effective! We can send you a link if you are interested. With a 4" lifted 40 you may be able to run these brackets in the "high position" so the light is actually above the knuckle.
Cheers! :cheers:

Yes! Please send link "about/for" the lights. (hopefully "bulletproof" ;-} ) I like the looks of the pair y'all used.. bright (albeit "yellow"), compact AND up "out of the way" (for the most part) of any damaging "ballistic missiles" that always seem to hit the front axle ;-}
Thanks.

Hey Charles!
So here are the lights we have been messing around with: Amazon product ASIN B08CXPNQZ3
The 993 or 993a. You can switch these lights between yellow and white. You can wire them in a way that you can do that on they fly with a switch or just permanently pick on and run one color. Your choice. These are not the only lights that will fit the brackets of course :).

The thing we love about these brackets is their discreet placement of lights if you dont want that "look" of all these accessory lights all over your rig. You can only see them when you bend down and look under the rig.

Red66Toy;
Thanks.. Info much appreciated..
On your set-up, I immediately liked the style (and small size) of the lights you used PLUS the "fan" of light they
emitted "beside" the stock-headlamps.. Highly functional!! Thanks, again!!

Awesome, glad they made it! I have a pair of the Diode Dynamics SSC1s on order. I will report back how I like them. The Rigid Ignites and Baja Designs S1s also look about the right size. I think KC-Hilites always makes a new generation small powerful LED pods.
