AC nob in OFF position but AC still on (1 Viewer)

Hey mud members, anyone run into this issue? My AC fan nob is in the OFF position but the FAN is still on. I can switch fan speeds no problem but it wont shut off.

It's showing "Lo" as illuminated while switch is pointed at off. Did it skip a click on the knob itself?
Does it turn off when you move the knob to "Auto"?

It did not appear to skip a click. It wont shut off in Auto position. I think it may be the electronics behind the knob thats gone bad...is there a part number for that?

The most effective way to find parts (IMHO) is to first get your vehicle information report from Toyota (with your VIN) then use copy/paste to enter your VIN into partsouq.com. Once you do that, the only results you'll get are specific to your vehicle. By taking that extra step to get your vehicle's report, you won't have to hand enter your VIN (potentially incorrectly) into the text field every time. Once you've found your part number, copy/paste that and head to cruisin4parts.com, paste the part number and it will give you a list of vendors carrying that part and the price they have it listed at.

Unfortunately, at least as it pertains to my '99 UZJ100, the part looks to be globally unavailable. Could be different for your '01

Before ordering all new electronics I would just take it apart and clean the contacts for the buttons.
