A343F Transmission Solenoid Part Numbers (1 Viewer)

I have a 1997 LC and would like to confirm the correct part numbers for the A343F transmission shift solenoids. I understand there are 3 shift solenoids, and two of them are the same solenoid, so 2 part numbers are needed for the 3. Nearly all of the transmission solenoid discussions on here are about the A442F transmission. Perhaps the A343Fs haven's quite reached the age where these solenoids need replacing, thus the lack of discussion.

If I plug my truck info into the Toyota parts website, it does not list any available transmission shift solenoids.

If I plug my truck info into PartSouq, it lists 2 part numbers as not available, followed by suggested substitutions as follows:

85420-30200 - (2x) Transmission Solenoid Assy (Not available))
85420-21090 - (2x) [SUBSTITUTION]

85420-30220 - (1) Transmission Solenoid Assy (Not available)
85420-30260 - (1) [SUBSTITUTION] (Not available)
35250-50030 - (1) [SUBSTITUTION] (Toyota lists this as the newest version)

The two Substitutions are available on the Toyota website, but it says they may not be compatible with my '97 LC. PartSouq shows them as being compatible with many other vehicles, including the LC 100, LC 90, and LC Prado. Are these Substitutions compatible for a North America market 97 LC? I found one other thread that indicates these are the correct part numbers for an A343F in a LX450 (should be the same), but wanted to be sure before purchasing.

Also, Toyota lists two Oil Strainer Solenoids - 35441-30031 & 35441-30020. They are relatively inexpensive. Any need to change these out as part of PM?

Have you checked with your local Toyota Dealer parts Dept, or checked (for example) Oriseman Toyota parts online, or Amayama?
IME generally Amayama, Partsouq or Oriseman Toyota online, if they list a substitution it's correct.

Are you having shifting issues, any transmission codes?

I have not called the Toyota dealer parts guys. I'll do that tomorrow. I have no transmission issues. Mainly concerned about acquiring these solenoids for the spare parts shelf, especially since the original part numbers are NLA.

I have not asked the dealer parts department, but will give them a call this week. Amayama and Ourisman both show the same substitutes, and like PartSouq and Toyota, do not specifically list the LC 80 as being compatible with these parts. No transmission issues currently. Considering getting these for the spare parts shelf though, especially since the original part numbers are already NLA.
