So my super slow project isn't all that yota at the moment but, i have plans for more and more yota as it goes.
the beginning

got a good deal had to do alot of tinkering but, finally got her street legal and rolling along nicely then i parked her in the garage and bought the Cruiser.
She looked something like this when parked

so i parked her and left her for awhile then started tearing her apart slowly to do what i planned from the beginning (then briefly thought of selling then gave that up again and back to the plan)
So the plan. is still up in th air but, im going one of two ways: LWB Zuk will look something like the factory Long Zuks just a bit taller. Or option 2 still Longer but more of a truck than a suv. ide chop the "bed" area just behind the targa bar and then add on the last foot or so to the back then make a top so it looked like a normal zuk just shorter then add a bed of some sort on to the back (ither a moded yota bed or custom something that resembles the actual zuk trucks)
more yota comes in to play cause im kinda thinken a 22re would make her purr real nice if i don't stay zuk and go 1.6, also im gunna do a 1/4 eliptical spring set up and im ither gunna use the waggy main leaf from the springs that are on there now or a taco main leaf (cause i have em) with the YJ's spring packs i have to put on.

so what do you guy think? which would be better the long zuk or a zuk truck and for those who have totally changed engines would it be to much work to go all yota in my zuk?

I'd go the long chassis to get your wheelbase, then use the shortest body to save on panel damage when wheeling. Add some yota diffs and running gear, over here we use a Buick injected V6 motor in the Zook's but a 22re would be ok, or cheaper may be a 2Y or 3Y. 1/4's for the springs works for me, not as cool or costly as air shocks and coils, but it works well and is cheap.

and actually i been doing some reading and im intined to do 3/4 elliptical the partial leaf upside down attached to the frame then the full pack below it.
