The 40 is alive. The heart transplant is done and she fired right up and seems to be running good. We just have to fix a leaking water hose, set the timing, put the bib on, top off the tranny and transfer case fluids, and adjust the valves. Almost ready for a test drive. And yes I took video but the format from my EVO isn't recognized on mud so I couldn't post it.

coming together

a pic under the hood and one all put together. Notice the fancy Trollhole carb. Runs sweet. Drove her yesterday to the car wash to get almost a years worth of grime off. Ran great except the water temp sending unit Isn't working. That will be fixed shortly. Had a new one today but Parks sold me the wrong one so well be going to plan B.

Congrats Scott! looking good

hows that red 62 running?

I was told by the fella at Backpaker that you were painting it to be very colorful. I was hoping to see it a couple weeks ago at the Cruiseing Carolinas run.

It wasn't on the road then...That's why I wasn't there, I was putting it back together.

The 62 runs fine...It needs a little TLC, but other than that, it's good.

Very colorful. Under the hood anyway. Outside is still desert tan for now.

I like it. Good job on the color combo. Could have used some pink in there though.

What did you do with the sending unit out of your old motor?

I've got some pink paint...which parts did you have in mind?
(besides the obvious temp sender)

the whole rig

David, Maybe I'll use some of that pink paint when I do the body work on your 62.:flipoff2::flipoff2:

Should I even ask why you had pink paint to begin with???? Maybe you need a sticker like Marshalls...." I'm not gay I just really like rainbows" Lmfao!
