Who made the set CD? Decent taps and dies made with quality carbon steel are getting harder and harder to find.

@1911, I agree. Especially metric.

Rolling the dice.

Amazon. I will report back how it works. Looks Chinesium. My main use is for chasing threads. Hearing cutting new threads might not be great. Will be doing thread cut this weekend and will share.

I love it. I hope I can find one similar after my 45 is done. I have a plan and some parts to go with it. I want to see what you do with.

That will be pretty sweet. I will be going the other way with a mild 4x4 build.

I like that you can still see some old decal on the door and pin stripes. It will be pretty cool.

Love the faded decal and stripes as well. Want to encapsulate it before it fades.

Eagle landed in one piece. No regrets about the 3UR. Wicked power. 80 mph on the flats with power at the beckon call. 70mph up the hills easy.

Got some sorting done. All in the green was full. Only filled labeled drawers of the new set up with all the stuff that was in the Green drawers which served well for a while. IKEA👀.
Drawer faces would break loose of heavy items were in the drawers. Nothing like old school metal!!

It swallows tools!!

Sometimes it is about the simple goodness. Cowboy45 was wound up with school and a hectic schedule. A mindless cruise in Rootbeer with some country music was therapy. ‘‘twas for me as well.

Haha. Mac and Cheese, sausage, bbq, chitos, takis, corn dogs, pizza, tweezlers, steady staple of land cruisers, and yes…..wait for it……some vittles.

Thanks for taking me back @thatcabledude!!! Hard to imagine this thread started in Feb 2018. Holy Moly! Not that long ago. It’s packed full of memories. He is almost 6’ and 190lbs. Some pics of him handing me tools while I worked on the 80. Him on orange peel our mini tractor. He is quite the equipment operator.
