From the user end of things, the Toyota V12 is an amazing piece of mechanical wizardry. Smooth doesn't even begin to describe it, and there's an amazing amount of power and torque to move the 4,200 lb Century down the road--especially when you flip the switch to PWR mode. Honestly, the vehicle feels faster and quicker than any patrol vehicle I've ever driven.

It's especially impressive on the highway when one might demand a "hole shot" to pass. I never got to explore the vehicle's top speed, but I have every confidence that what the specs indicate on the internet would correct (above 130mph). The rapidity with which it goes from 70mph to over 110mph is breathtaking. [Shout out to somewhere in Alabama . . . ]

holy cow .....

that Century's DENSO is almost 2K

The LFA is a V10.
It screams like a Formula 1 motor.

I've seen several sets of OEM 16" wheels for the the 2nd Gen. Century on eBay for between $2,000 and $4,000. I've also seen a few complete motors (some including transmission) for between $2,500 and $5,000.
