Anybody have an idea of what an A/C service should cost for a 93 80? Maybe just needs more freon (sp?), it's basically not as cold as it should be.

Thanks,
Erik

$20 to $40 for charging plus R12 or R134a assuming no leaks. It goes up from there. If R12, better start looking for a loan.

Just had my sons 91 done and it took two pounds and cost me $120.00 for the complete service. Checked for leaks, found none, and recharged.

Hope they checked it real well....because the 2 pounds that was in there before went somewhere. Hard to believe it doesn't have a leak. If your '91 has R-12 it could get expensive.

Depends on how they do it. New fittings & dryer, vac & re-charge don't cost much. Compressors and condensors do.

Had a conversion on a 94 GMC Jimmy done 4 years ago.....total (condenser, compressor, fittings) was 782.46.....
