Hey guys, I almost have the 60 going!!

My a/c doesn't work right now, and I'm not in a hurry to fix it. (no $) Can I leave the compresser beltless, or does it need to move so it won't "freeze up"?

It may not 'freeze up' from lack of use....but the seal may 'dry up' and allow leakage....

If your worried (without the belt) , you can 'now & then' 'jump' the clutch to the battery and manually rotate the compressor 6 or so times....

OK. I'm just going to leave the old belt on till it goes

Mine froze up by being beltless. It took it a year or so, but it did freeze.
