Communications via cell phone is very hit or miss in the park but I’ll check both email and ‘MUD messages each night. I’ll be leaving home on the 16th and plan to visit some grandkids in the Atlanta area for a couple of days but should roll into Windrock around noon on Wednesday. Hope to see everyone Thursday afternoon.

If anyone needs to add a soft top to their 73 series I can deliver this to the event!

Be a great weekend to enjoy!

Won't get there till midday Friday, but ill catch up with everyone later
If all else fails, we’ll see you at dinner (cabin 816-822 around 6:30 pm). 😊

The nice folks from Odd Iron Off Road were kind enough to print out the itinerary and sponsor list for our event.

PSA …..
Although this has never been an issue at one of our events, Windrock has a strong prohibition against any alcoholic beverages on the trails (they have been known to check individual vehicles leaving the parking lot). If you’re caught, they may ask you to leave the park. ☹️

Good reminder, they WILL check your cooler, fridge etc. at most entrances, need to leave anything with alcohol back at camp/cabin/hotel.

Also, if you have some time beforehand and certainly before trail line up time(s) please go online or to one of the Wind Rock general stores and get a Windrock Park Pass for EACH individual in your vehicle for the days you will be in the park.

Looking forward to the event and seeing everyone this year! Safe Travels!!!

One of many amber lights you don’t want to see on the trails. 😁

Some of our volunteers are already at Windrock, while others will arrive on Tuesday and in my case on Wednesday. Just remember “TACO THURSDAY” kicks off around 6:30 P.M. Thursday evening at our cabins.

While on the subject of food, you’ll need to plan on food while on the trails during the day, but we have you covered each night. Our “rock guy” will show up around 6:30 P.M. each evening. 😁

Anyone wheeling on Thu?

We should be there on Wed, so 2 of us will do some stock trails on Thu.

I didn't realize that you are joining the party. It will be great to see you.

My plan is to drive up on Thursday. I was eyeing arriving in the afternoon, but I can start out earlier so I can arrive in the morning to support a day of trails. Just let me know what time and I will make it.

Thanks

What to expect Friday morning …….
We would like to leave the parking lot around 9:00am so we ask that everyone arrive around 8:30am
with park permits in hand and fuel tanks topped off. Liability forms will need to be signed prior to the days activities. The groups will be divided (based on the level of challenge you are seeking) and off we go.
* We will attempt to get a head start on the legal stuff Thursday evening during social hour. 😊

Couldn't pass up Buc-ees. 😀

Challenge #1 was to spend 8+ hours on I-75 and not fill out an accident report. ———— Check

If you don’t get your park permits online (highly recommended), you can also get them at the new Windrock permit office. 😊
