Long story short, I had a cylinder 5 misfire code.

So I thought all new plugs and a new coil for #5. Replaced the coil in cylinder 5, and put in a new plug, started the truck and it ran great. I thought I had fixed the original problem and all was well… so then I went on to start replacing all of the spark plugs because it was time…..

The next plug I replaced was #1 but I stupidly mixed up that coil W the bad one so I wasn’t sure which one to use… I figured i had a 50/50 shot and if it didn’t run good, I knew I put the wrong one in.

Well the truck didn’t start…. So I swapped coils, still didn’t start. Put the old spark plug in, didn’t start. Swapped coils again, didn’t start.

I have no idea what to do now.

UPDATE… that was something to do with the immobilizer.. I reset that and it fired right up and idles great

BUT NOW, when you first start it, it dies. You try it again and it fires right up, idles good. Runs good at low rpm and light throttle… give it much gas and it cuts out….. what the **** ?

Im an idiot. I didn’t plug in the little sensor on the air cleaner housing.

She’s back to running perfectly, mods feel free to delete this thread lol
Glad you sorted it out. Its a good reminder to all to check ever connections after doing any work.
