I've got a 100 series I'm thinking I'll sell. It's been a great rig, heres the original add;99 100 series Land Cruiser

I bought it from this guy a few years ago and since then I've done the steering rack, added a double din carplay screen( which is kinda glitchy), a backup cam(also kinda crappy), and just put five new 295/75/16 bfg's on it. Great truck, but I'm thinking of getting an x5 diesel instead. Truck has around 250k miles on it now as well. Does not leak or consume any oil, runs great.

2013 is a lot of SUV for high $teens. Diesel get what, 28 mpg? Car like on road. Off road passable. Maybe a step below a 100. Insanely comfortable inside. Hi be can even get the massaging seats.

@e34croak please tell us you experiences!

Bump for Oregon!
I had a x5 diesel for a few months and it was an awful experience. I bought a certified preowned one at Salem BMW. When a BMW is running it is an amazxing machine, but when it breaks down, and it will, it is a total nightmare. The service manager at Salem BMW is a total a-hat and accused me of lying and making up problems that didn't exist, the sales man I worked with lied to me about what the warranty covered and the manager is no better. It had several problems and was in the shop as much as it was my driveway. I finally went out of pocket and lost money for them to buy it back from me so I could get that POS out of my driveway. With that said my wife has a Audi Q5 diesel and it has been a dream! The Q7 is about the same size as the X5 so I would look at them. I wanted her to get the Q7 but she didn't like the size. Audi Wilsonville and Audi Bend have also been the best to deal with, just a night and day difference. Having owned both the Audi 3 liter TDI and the BMW I can say the Audi is faster and smoother than the BMW for certain.
I love diesel and we have a diesel 80 and diesel Q5 right now. With that said I am looking to trade my GX470 for a LX570 for my client hauling vehicle. The older ones have come down in price and I think if you wanted a luxury ride I would strongly recommend going that route. If you don't really want a luxury ride I would steer clear of the BMWs, used BMWs will bleed you dry with repairs until the transmission goes and you have it crushed and still have a loan you are paying on. I can get go into detail on the reasons to go Lexus petrol over German diesels if you are interested but I have rambled enough already.
