I'm contemplating selling my '97 LX450. NO RUST! It's been a north Texas truck it's whole life. When I bought this truck, in Oct. of 2013, it had 150,000 miles on it and it appeared to have never been off road. It had zero scratches, zero dents, zero dents/scratches on undercarriage and zero accessories except grill/light guards. I searched a long time to find, what I believed was, an unmolested and babied truck. I believe I'm the 3rd owner (first in Lubbock, 2nd in Irving and now me in Waxahachie). I have pic's from the day I bought it for those interested. 203K miles but will go up as it's my DD. I'm a bit hesitant as I've put a bunch of time & money in it & wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country, again. It runs & drives great. It has desert sand Monstaliner over the entire body.
Lots of PM done to it & aftermarket parts added.
Parts added/upgraded:
All Monstaliner'd
ARB front replacement
Smittybilt 10K Winch
OPOR rock rails
LED light bars on bumper
Rear Aussie Locker
4x4 Labs single rear tire carrier swingout
OME 850/860 complete lift kit w/caster correction via bushings
DIY "Moose" roof rack
CDL switch added
Factory alarm removed
Kenwood double DIN head unit w/back-up camera & hands free phone
Door speakers replaced w/Pioneers
Dual battery set-up completed except a second battery hasn't been added
Multiple USB/ cigarette lighter plugs front & rear
All LED interior lights
WeatherTech floor liners in front 2 rows
295/75/16 Toyo AT II tires
Stock wheels painted black
Uniden CB in the ashtray
Scangauge
Firestik antenna w/splitter so stereo & CB use the same antenna
flares removed
ABS/LSPV delete (still have everything that was removed)
I'll add more items to this list as I remember them

PM performed/ parts replaced (all Toyota parts unless noted):
All U-joints
Fusible Links
Rem. Starter
plugs
cap
rotor
dizzy o-ring
oil pump gasket
O2 sensors
belts
A/C idler pulley
tranny fluid drain/refill
t-case drain/refill
Diff's drained & refilled
brake fluid flushed
Koyo radiator
All radiator hoses replaced
full coolant system flushed
Upgraded fan clutch w/fluid
Brake booster (aftermarket)
Power Stop slotted & drilled rotors front & rear
Power Stop "HD" pads in rear, Power Stop "truck" pads in front
PHH work around w/Gates Green stripe
2nd line by PHH
Many vacuum lines
Rear wheel bearings repacked
Rear axle seals replaced
Front axle seals replaced
Front wheel bearings repacked
most exterior bulbs
lots of wiring routed for lots of accessories
Getting a new registration/ inspection this week
I'll add more items to this list as I remember them

The bad:
Valves sometimes rattle (probably just need adjusting, IDK)
A bulb out in the dash for the A/C light
A crack in the center of the dash
A 1" x 4" shallow dent in right rear quarter panel @ the tail light (easy fix but I haven't fixed it yet)
Monstaliner has a line in it going around the truck from doing the bottom half then a month later doing the top half (I planned to lightly sand the line & do a light layer over it to make it disappear)
Driver seat bottom has been recovered but the rest of the seats haven't (some cracks but no tears)
Front seats won't go forward/backward (they need the plastic gears replaced)
Factory antenna doesn't function (see above for antenna info.)
Plast-dip on ext. door handles needs to be removed/redone
Speedometer/ odometer works but trip meter does not
I'm trying to be as honest as possible w/this list. Most of these items are non-issues but I want to be 100% up front about any/all problems.

This is an expedition/overland built rig that will go just about anywhere. I built it for all types of terrain & dependability. I'll try to post pic's if I can figure out how since I don't have PB anymore. PM me your email or phone number & I can send some.
Asking $13,300 obo $12,500. Would trade for a moderately built low mileage 1st Gen Tacoma. I will not accept irrational lowball offers so please don't waste your time. If it doesn't sell, oh well, I'll just keep driving & modding it!
Thanks for looking!

Pics?

Let me know if pics aren't showing for y'all. I see 9 on my end. Thanks!

man, that's too clean and nicely set up to sell! you'll regret getting rid of it and spend twice as much setting another up when the 80 series withdrawals kick in. Don't ask me how I know.

good luck with the sale!

I've driven this from the southern tip of Texas to the Canadian border and back. I wouldn't hesitate to make the same trip today in it. Reasonable offers considered!

Due to me having a very open work schedule/calendar, I can deliver the car to almost anywhere in the USA if you can give me a ride to the airport afterwards. This is something that would have to be discussed at length but it's an option.
Please read more recent post for info. pertaining to this option. Thanks.

Sounds good. Let me know if you want any specific pics. Thanks.

For anyone interested, I recently bought a pulley from @LFD2037 really a standup Mudder. He drove a good distance from his home to meet me closer to my house and is fair and honest. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again..... infact, I could use a 3rd 80 ;) GLWS

Can I get some more pics,(cracked dash, seats, dent, or any other issues...) does it have the third row seats? You mentioned delivering the vehicle, would Appleton wi. Be possible? My work schedule does not have much wiggle room.

In the above pic's, # 3 & 5, you can see the dent. It's pretty small.
I'll get those pic's tomorrow morning.
No 3rd row seats.
Appleton is a looong drive, over 17 hours! It's doable but if I'm to deliver it the buyer will need to pay for my flight home.

Here's the pics you requested. Thanks.
The dent is pretty small but it's the only body damage & I wanted to point it out.
Rear seats are in good condition.
Passenger seat.
Drivers seat.
Dash crack is about 1/4" wide. I'd imagine it'd be a pretty easy fix w/a dash repair kit.

Passed the state smog test/safety inspection today. Went to get new registration sticker but they're closed until tomorrow.

Registration done. Insp./reg. good until Nov. 2018.

Put latex caulk in the dash crack, and keep it.

Free bump - but youuuuu'll beeeee soooooooorryyyyyyy.

Tech to keep relevant: was the original color black or green (seeing the jambs)?

The right color latex caulk would probably be a perfect fix!
Dark Emerald Green I believe it's called.
