I need help on replacing the toggle switch on my drviers side seat in a 1996 Land Cruiser. Its the upper switch that controls the tilt of the back of the seat. thanks!

The whole switch unit needs replacement . You cant just get the one . I wish mine would break as everytime I get in I end up moving the back down a little to the point I have to adjust it every 3rd drive or so :whoops:
 
I had that switch break. What I did was to take the switch apart and use a small screw going from the inside of the switch out into the broken piece to reattach the knob. Once you get a price of that assembly I'm sure you will give it a try.

You can buy just the switch from CDan for only a few bucks. The problem is if the switch broke, then something in the assembly probably broke also. I rigged my new switch similar to landtank, with a screw. PITA just to hook up a switch, but worth it in the end.
