This was a super helpful thread. I removed the alarm and remote start from my 92 on Friday. I had an intermittent no-start that turned into a permanent no-start. I was getting ready to dive into the NSS because early on I got it started by shifting into neutral. That worked once. Then I found out the brand new battery I had put in last August was defective. I was hoping the warranty replacement would solve things. Not a chance. After full removal of the alarm and remote start she started right up without a hitch....even after sitting for a few months while I waited for the weather to warm up (I don't have a garage). I've been driving it all over town for the last few days and haven't had a problem.
