As the title states , looking to sell my "89 FJ62

- just under 300k miles, but top end has been freshened up, starts on first twist of the key
- spring over lift with the shortest available shackles (3" front, 4" rear), steering has been corrected
- BFGoodrich KM2s with 90-95% tread
- custom front bumper (Custom Cruisers) with off brand winch and lightbar (both have performed way beyond my expectations
- custom rear bumper (Custom Cruisers) with dual swing outs, high lift jack, gas can rack, spare full size tire
- rock sliders (Custom Cruisers)
- new Bilsteins all the way around
- recently rebuilt trans, less than 1000 miles ago
- custom storage drawer system in the back with panel top that converts the back to one big flat area to sleep on (will throw in the 4" memory foam pad, if wanted)
- Powertank on the side of drawer system, hidden under top panel + "Power Tank" brand pressure gauge
- Misc pull straps, Hi-Lift adapters, and other extraction gear

- interior is about 90-95%, overall is in excellent condition
- exterior is about 80-85%, a few nicks, dings, one small rust spot (pictured) , and a scrape to the primer pre rock sliders
- Roof gutters are clean, NO RUST
- Locking hubs are still smooth and in great condition

I have piles of receipts for maintenance and upgrades going back over 6 years, such as -

- new distributor, cap, rotor
- transmission rebuild (less than 1000 miles on rebuild)
- rebuilt head, re-ring, hone cylinders etc
- new Optima Red Top (brand new, month old)
- just passed California smog 2 weeks ago, and was detailed 2 days ago.

Disclosure
- small rust spot on left side wagon window seal (only rust spot)
- scrape down to primer on driver side doors (pre slider installation scrape)
- Window frames will need some adjustment to be more free moving, they work fine (electric windows), but are slow, also have another set of window frames and actuators.
- Small leak from right front knuckle, very small weep, as typical for Cruisers
- Small weepy leak from rear engine seal, also typical of 25 yr old Cruisers
- Tail gate panel inserts are broken, so it pops off from time to time (the carpeted interior panel)
- Speedo is about 5mph off due to the 33" tires

Overall this rig is a fantastic FJ62 specimen, and is in fantastic shape for being 25 years old. It gets crappy gas mileage, as they all do (about 10mpg), but the engine is still strong, and starts on the first key twist, never overheats.

Asking $12,500

Awesome looking rig! If I only had the money :)

Still available, recently detailed inside and out. Not in a hurry to get rid of it, but it's just sitting, and I would much rather have it go to someone that's gonna use it.

Sold?

Still available, I have taken it in to Custom Cruisers to have some small things looked and and fixed, new brake pads, thermostat, quick release sway bar mounts, little things. It is till available.

I'm sure I'm like most people who are on the hunt for a Cruiser; you end up searching back through older classified posts and see if the Cruiser ever sold. Well I emailed Ted and sure enough it has not. On Tuesday, I went and took a look and test drove this 62 with Ted.

This baby is in great shape! The interior is immaculate (video here). Drives very comfortably, even on the highway. Unfortunately for me, the lift is a tad too high for my daily driver use-case, however, those who are looking for a pristine Cruiser with big time off-road abilities, this is the truck.

This bump and share is completely unsolicited too, Ted is a great guy and I just felt this post got lost.

Still available, I've been meaning to shoot a short walk around video and such, but have just been going crazy with work. I'm going to try and get on that this coming week.

I may consider a partial trade for a good/great condition roof top tent.

so this video is pretty much the complete walk around although it ends sort of abruptly. I plan on doing another showing the engine bay and the undercarriage, as well as a quick drive. Just ran out of time and memory on my phone today.
