SOLD!
I bought her about 3 months ago to build into a expedition rig. This rig has been very well mantained with service records. When I bought the 62 it already had a 2.5" lift with OME Dakar heavy/heavy springs, shocks and steering damper...this lift is about a year old. I added to the lift buy installing the MAF shackle reversal kit and longer anti-inversion shackles in the rear. I also installed MAF longer front and rear brake lines. I added the FZJ80 wheels with OEM wheel lug nuts and locks with spacers. The 33" BFG AT's are brand new. Total lift is about 4 to 4.5 inches. Installed caster shims front and rear, performed full alignment. All done by myself in my shop.
Full major service done and items replaced under my ownership. Oil and filter service. Rear diff, front diff, transfer and transmission service. Coolant flush and replacement. Brake fluid flush and replacement. Lubed all grease points. Replaced all drive belts. Replaced t-stant and o-ring. Performed valve adjustment and replaced cover gasket, PVC gasket and PVC. Replaced distributor cap, rotor and spark plugs. Set timing as per FSM. Replace power steering high pressure line. Replaced speedometer cable.
The 62 will come with a brand new rear Aussie Locker kit, the kit has not been installed.
The power train has 255k on it and runs perfect. She starts and idles perfectly, drives and shifts perfectly. 4WD system works great. The radiator, water pump, fan clutch, fan and alternator where replaced recently by PO. There are two small oil leaks coming from the front cover and rear main seal. There is an aftermarket tranny cooler installed. AC and heat work well. All power windows work but right front is a little slow. Power door locks work as well as everything else.
The body is completely rust free. This 62 has always been hot dry climate. It was bought new in New Mexico, moved to Texas and then finally ended up in Arizona. The clear on the silver paint is shot and will need repaint. The front bumper, right fender, headlamps, headlamp trim, side marker and turn signals where replaced due to a minor accident from PO. Body does have some trail rash with minor dings and dents.
The interior is very clean without any rips or tears on the seats. The carpet is ok with some minor staining here and there. The dash is crack free. There is a decent audio system that was installed by PO. The right rear view mirror is a non-power aftermarket type.
I need to sell because I just bought a built FZJ80. I'm looking to get $5,500 to break even with vehicle purchase, new parts and all that was done. Price is firm. Clean title on hand. I would not hesitate driving this rig across the country. She easily hums along at 75mph. Please PM or email me at rob1925@hotmail.com with any questions.
Cheers,
Robert
Pictures do not show longer brake lines but they are installed.
