1987 FJ-60 w/ V-8 Conversion!
Well, it is time... I need to sell my toys and grow up. My wife just had a child and this vehicle no longer has a place in our garage. My loss is your gain.
This is a lifted 1987 FJ-60 (Land Cruiser) which has had a V-8 conversion, custom roof rack, front bumper and rear bumper. This thing is a BEAST (our family calls her 'Babe' the big blue ox).
I bought this vehicle a few years ago to work around the house and take the family camping. I have put quite a bit of money into ensuring that the mechanicals are reliable, but I wasn't quite able to get around to polishing the inside like I liked. Most of the mechanical improvements are from a previous owner. I have some records but nothing exhaustive.
Specifics:
- 1993 Camaro or Corvette engine
- ARB lockers (though there may be a leak in the line because it will lock but the pump takes a long time to shut off)
- Roll Cage
- Bluetooth compatible stereo
- Lifted
- New tires (~4000 miles on them)
- New shocks
- 1 year old fuel pump, ignition sensor
- 5 speed manual transmission w/ granny low (This beast can easily hold 85 on the highway and can tow very well)
- Roof rack lights & fog lights (wiring is good, lights may need replacing)
