Any ideas what this little box does? It has wiring and a slide cable with a loop at the end. I thought it might be be an aftermarket cruise control but…

1986 FJ60 with original 2F engine, 4 speed.

Definitely not stock. It does sort of look like it might be an aftermarket cruise. Any weird sensors or magnets around the rear driveshaft? Any weird wires attached to linkages on the carb?

No magnets near driveshaft. It has a 5-6 wire harness that goes to through the firewall and a slide cable like a choke or something and a loop on the end. It is disconnected, just always thought it was the wiper motor. Any idea what the headlight washer motor consists of? That was another thought.
